Greetings everyone,
I trust everyone enjoyed AMT Day yesterday. I would like to take this opportunity to update you on the GoFundMe drive to raise money for the next bronze bust of Charles E. Taylor which the AMTA will be offering to the United States Army Aviation Museum. We have raised $1375.00 of the $4500.00 goal. Each bronze bust is created by the very talented artist Virginia Hess. The cost for the bust is $6000.00. The AMTA has donated these busts of Charlie in France, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and the United States Air Force National Museum to name a few locations. All these bust donation were made possible by you... the AMTA members. Thank you for your continued support. If you know anyone who wishes to join the AMTA forward this e-mail to them and have them reply back to me with their name and e-mail address. That's all that is needed to join the AMTA. Well, that and a love of aircraft maintenance.
The AMTA recently received donations from Mr. Chuck Schalk, Mr. John Ruiz and Mr. Rick Gutlon. Thank you gentlemen!
