CBS Gets it Right! GA Aircraft are a Business Tool

Over the weekend, CBS News aired a rare segment about business aviation that explained to viewers the true story about the industry’s value to citizens, companies and communities across the U.S. The story featured comments from Wes Stowers, chairman of NBAA Member Company Stowers Machinery Corporation, a Knoxville, TN-based Caterpillar dealership that relies on a King Air 350 and a jet to reach places the airlines don’t fly. The story reported that only 500 American cities are served by commercial airlines, while general aviation can access 5,000 smaller airports across the country.
