Is aircraft specific training worth the investment?

Thanks for a great time Missoula

Today wraps up my three days at the 2010 Montana Aviation Conference. This is the 26th annual conference. I meet a lot of ATP and AskBob users and friends. I was able to demonstrate some of our unique features including the Genuine Aircraft Hardware catalog, advanced Compliance Record tips and swap stories about site experts John Schwaner, Paul Royko, Carol Carpenter, and Mike Bush. Although flying hours are down there were reports of increased maintenance activity. Seems the lower utilization is creating increased wear and component failures. Signs of a turn around could be seen including the guys from Northstar Jet who were showing photos of their new charter King Air B100, and photos of lots of corporate and charter aircraft at their facility. GA is still the best way to get around Big Sky country!

The show attracted close to 600 attendees and 56 vendors. The free ice cream from Cross Petroleum was a big hit again this year.  Attendance from local schools, Channel 8 was nice to see as was the presentation to 13 aviation scholarship winners. ATP received recognition for 16 years of support and attendance. Omaha Airplane Supply was recognized for 26 years of support.

Thank you Montana for your hospitality and dedication to aviation
