Can anyone tell me whether any general aviation technician ergonomics studies have been published and if so can you give me a direction to go to find it? Specifically we operate King Air, Twin Commander and Twin Cessna aircraft. Surely in all these years of techs crawling in and out of these types of airplanes someone will have already paved this road.
Any help is appreciated.

Haven't seen any ergo studies in this area, but I suspect if modern ergonomic standards were applied, we'd find that it is impossible to comply and still be able to maintain the aircraft
